Mudgals are wooden clubs, traditionally strength training tool of ancient warriors and combat sport athletes.
Mudgal also referred to as Mudgar in many parts of India, finds its earliest mention in and around the 4th century BC in Arthashastra by Chanakya.
It is the perfect tool to build boulder shoulders, a skull crushing grip and a strong foundation while also improving mobility in the upper body.
The mudgals at Handle Bar are handcrafted using the finest quality of wood. We offer two different types of wood both of which are highly durable. The popular option is Bhavnagari teak wood (saag). The more high-end option is premium quality Rose wood (sheesham).
Every mudgal is hand crafted by craftsmen from Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
